Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closing procedures
- Generate financial statements and variance reports for client review
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for maximum efficiency
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly/year-end audits
- Develop customized financial reporting solutions for diverse client portfolios
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial software
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with error detection capabilities
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly desirable
