Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with GAAP.
- Process payroll entries and manage sales tax filings as required.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax preparers during audit periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic federal tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
