Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Process and process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with year-end tax preparations and support internal/external financial audits.
- Monitor accounts and prepare adjustments as needed to maintain ledger integrity.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and company financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with Sage 50 or NetSuite is a strong plus.
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or CPA preferred but not required.
