Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor relationships
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements monthly
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records
- Prepare financial reports and tax documentation
- Maintain QuickBooks databases and ensure data integrity
- Assist with audits and compliance documentation
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks proficiency with certification a plus
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
