Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 high-volume client accounts
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate year-end audits and tax documentation preparation
- Implement and maintain robust accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Provide strategic financial insights to client leadership teams
- Mentor junior bookkeepers on best practices and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
