Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filing procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent credential preferred
- Strong knowledge of Texas sales tax regulations
