Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with 99.8% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses for 15+ clients
- Manage AP/AR cycles including vendor negotiations and collections strategies
- Oversee payroll processing for 50+ employees using ADP systems
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for new client acquisitions
- Coordinate annual tax preparation documentation with CPA partners
- Lead quarterly financial review meetings with department heads
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA candidates preferred)
- Proven experience with GAAP compliance and SOX documentation
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail (0.1% error tolerance)
- Strong client management experience in professional services
- Knowledge of Massachusetts sales tax nexus regulations
