Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely vendor payments
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for diverse client portfolios
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for enhanced financial visibility
- Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to GAAP standards
- Collaborate with CFOs to provide strategic financial insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent certification (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping for SMEs
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and Oregon state tax regulations
- Proven track record in month-end closing processes
- Exceptional analytical skills with high numerical accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for client-facing interactions
- Experience with financial reporting automation tools
