Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Lead audit processes and ensure SOX compliance with zero material exceptions
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
- Oversee AP/AR processes with 99.8% accuracy metrics
- Develop financial models for strategic planning and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize departmental workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and cost analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP)
