Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity financial accounts with 99.9% accuracy
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and manage cash flow forecasting
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Enterprise and Xero platforms
- Lead month-end closing procedures and journal entry maintenance
- Train junior staff on financial protocols and software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-company portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Xero platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Expertise in reconciling complex accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Proven track record of implementing financial controls and SOPs
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance across multiple states
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
