Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and monthly reconciliation processes
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for multiple clients
- Implement and optimize accounting systems using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Assist with tax preparation and audit documentation as needed
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to clients
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client relationships
