Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile multi-entity accounting systems with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with tax professionals for strategic tax planning
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping with high-volume transactions
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience managing multi-state payroll systems
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
