Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate sales tax filings and payroll support for multiple entities
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit preparation and tax season
- Maintain organized digital financial records with advanced Excel functions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Texas sales tax filing experience and payroll processing knowledge
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and month-end close procedures
- Professional communication skills for client interactions
- CPA or candidate preferred
