Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 10-15 diverse clients including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and KPI tracking
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures including journal entries and accruals
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax preparation
- Optimize accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online and Excel automation
- Provide financial insights to support client business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of managing month-end/year-end closing cycles
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) highly desirable
