Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with vendor/client reconciliation
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Conduct internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain accurate general ledger with detailed journal entries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven track record in financial reporting and audit processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
