Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and reconcile bank accounts
- Process payroll and assist with quarterly tax filings
- Maintain digital financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Conduct variance analysis for budget vs. actual performance
- Support audits by providing documentation and financial reports
- Collaborate with senior accountants on month-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with proficiency in QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
