Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts for 15+ clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow forecasting
- Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with tax documentation
- Implement QuickBooks automation and optimize accounting workflows
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly reviews and year-end closures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (PivotTables/VLOOKUP)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Expertise in sales tax filing (BOE) and payroll processing
- Proven track record of reducing accounting errors by 30%+
