Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Process payroll for multiple employees accurately and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings in collaboration with external accountants.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Implement and improve bookkeeping software workflows and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or CPA preferred but not required.
