Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and generate reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Associate in Accounting and Finance (AAF) preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in complex data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a plus.
