Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all financial transactions
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping systems using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season and audits
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for clients
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Deep understanding of payroll processing and multi-state compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication for client reporting
