Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Financial Analysis: Review and analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow data to assess the creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
- Risk Assessment: Develop and maintain credit risk models, scorecards, and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Credit Approval Workflow: Evaluate credit applications, make credit decisions, and determine appropriate credit limits and terms for clients.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Regularly monitor the performance of the loan portfolio, identify early warning signs of default, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed credit reports and presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Legal teams to structure complex deals and ensure smooth loan closing processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or commercial lending.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in reviewing documents and performing calculations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
