Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other data to assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses.
- Develop and maintain credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with banking regulations.
- Prepare and present credit risk assessments and recommendations to the credit committee.
- Monitor existing accounts for early signs of financial distress and proactively manage collections.
- Collaborate with sales and lending teams to provide insights that drive business growth.
- Conduct regular reviews of customer credit limits and terms.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping in the credit management system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or financial underwriting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and credit analysis software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy standards.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
