Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries, adjusting entries, and accruals to facilitate the month-end close.
- Generate accurate financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow analyses.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation to ensure full compliance with GAAP standards.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial data is up to date and secure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
