Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for leadership review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Leverage QuickBooks Online for efficient financial record management
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Develop and implement streamlined bookkeeping workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table expertise
- Proven experience in multi-currency and sales tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or CB) preferred
- Experience with construction or manufacturing accounting a plus
