Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable, receivable, and payroll with accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions for financial analysis
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews and tax season
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record in full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse industries
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Certification (CPA/ACB) preferred but not required
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines
- Excellent verbal/written communication and problem-solving abilities
