Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely vendor/client payments
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements and audits
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Lead tax preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience managing month-end closing processes and financial audits
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
