Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Assist with year-end tax preparations and internal financial audits.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions to track financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficient in cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
