Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Assist with annual tax preparation and audit documentation
- Maintain organized digital filing systems with zero-tolerance for errors
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online proficiency with certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Illinois tax regulations
- Expert Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
