Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements with 100% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client review
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for multi-client portfolios
- Coordinate with tax professionals to ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for client stakeholders
- Lead month-end closing processes with strict adherence to deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proven expertise in reconciling complex multi-entity accounts
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Texas tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
- Experience managing 15+ client portfolios simultaneously
