Responsibilities
- Full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ clients including AP/AR management, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance analysis
- Manage sales tax filings and ensure compliance with Florida state regulations
- Oversee QuickBooks implementation and optimization for client portfolios
- Coordinate annual audits and prepare supporting documentation
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for client decision-making
- Mentor junior bookkeepers and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and financial modeling
- Florida sales tax certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Experience managing multi-entity accounting and reconciliations
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
