Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ clients using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.5% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements & variance analysis
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll records
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and annual audits
- Implement financial controls for compliance with GAAP
- Train junior bookkeepers on proprietary software systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Enterprise
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
