Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and budget variance analyses
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings for multiple clients
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Collaborate with CFOs to provide strategic financial insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance (Texas-specific)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
