Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks, Xero) for maximum efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial standards
- Collaborate with CFOs and controllers to support strategic financial planning initiatives
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel (advanced functions), and financial reporting tools
- Proven track record of managing complex reconciliations and financial audits
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax compliance, and industry-specific accounting practices
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate data into strategic insights
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation or equivalent professional certification
