Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 high-volume clients using QuickBooks Online/Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L reports, and balance sheets with 100% accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue trends
- Coordinate with auditors during tax season and ensure compliance with GAAP/FASB
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping workflows for operational efficiency
- Train junior staff on financial software and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years' bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- CPA or equivalent certification (CPA, CMA) preferred
- Proven track record in multi-client bookkeeping with revenue $1M+
- Expert knowledge of sales tax filing and payroll regulations (CA)
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for client consultations
- Experience with construction/real estate industries a plus
