Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks systems
- Verify time records and calculate deductions, bonuses, and commissions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (KS, MO, OK)
- Prepare and file payroll tax forms (941, 940, state quarterly reports)
- Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and 401(k) contributions
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies within SLA
- Maintain confidential employee records and audit trails
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll integration
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with weekly pay cycles
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks Payroll
- Active Professional Payroll Certification (CPP/FPC) preferred
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, KS wage laws, and multi-state compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong problem-solving abilities with audit experience
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
