Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable with monthly closing support
- Generate financial statements and management reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings
- Implement internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits
- Train junior staff on accounting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Advanced Excel proficiency with VLOOKUP/PivotTables
- Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting platforms
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) preferred
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
