Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations with 100% accuracy
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support year-end audits and compliance
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices and workflow optimization
- Generate custom financial reports and KPI dashboards for client decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero proficiency
- Proven track record managing multi-client portfolios in a service environment
- Expertise in GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Exceptional attention to detail with error rate <0.5%
- Strong communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, QBP) highly desirable
