Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-client accounting systems using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end/year-end financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with 99.8% accuracy target
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 25+ employees
- Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Professional ethics with financial data handling
