Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledgers across multiple client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and executive summaries
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow forecasting
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for diverse business structures
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for multi-entity clients
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial modeling and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Expert proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven track record with multi-state tax compliance (VA, MD, DC)
- Experience with construction or retail industry accounting preferred
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly valued
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% reconciliation accuracy
- Ability to manage 15+ client portfolios simultaneously
