Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger activities, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable workflows.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification or CPA candidacy is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
