Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Implement and maintain internal accounting controls and procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proven expertise in month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage 50 experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
