Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings in collaboration with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Maintain and organize the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
