Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance analysis
- Oversee sales tax filings and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems for multi-entity clients
- Coordinate annual audits and provide documentation to external accountants
- Develop financial forecasting models and budget tracking systems
- Train junior staff on accounting software and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (Advanced functions/VBA)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP principles and tax compliance requirements
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Certifications (QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Xero) highly desirable
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for explaining financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
