Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and/or Xero to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial audit preparation.
- Monitor cash flow and provide monthly financial analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
