Join our dynamic finance team as a Senior Bookkeeper at Precision Financial Solutions in Milwaukee! We're seeking a meticulous professional to manage our clients' financial operations with precision and expertise. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work with 2 days per week in our downtown Milwaukee office. You'll be the backbone of financial integrity for our growing portfolio of small to mid-sized businesses.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season and audits
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Lead training for junior bookkeeping staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Expert knowledge of Wisconsin sales tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios
