Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations for 15+ diverse client portfolios
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations weekly
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing for 3-5 mid-sized companies using ADP
- Prepare sales tax filings and ensure compliance with KY state regulations
- Collaborate with CPA firm during quarterly audits
- Maintain organized digital filing systems using Xero document management
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Experience with multi-state sales tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transaction processing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
