Responsibilities
- Post daily journal entries and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reports.
- Manage payroll processing and time tracking for remote staff.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and fixed asset schedules.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a night shift environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
