Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and proprietary accounting software
- Process nightly payroll transactions and reconcile bank accounts daily
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with meticulous attention to detail
- Conduct thorough account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with comprehensive documentation
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly and annual reporting
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Proven track record of handling high-volume financial transactions
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with error-accuracy orientation
- Night shift availability with reliable transportation
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, CPB) highly desirable
