Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance filings
- Manage client accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) implementation and training
- Coordinate annual audits and assist with budget forecasting
- Develop financial controls to optimize cash flow and minimize risk
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent certification (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions with 99%+ accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions
