Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles including invoicing and collections
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management systems
- Assist in annual audits and tax preparation documentation
- Implement and improve bookkeeping processes using QuickBooks Online
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional services setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP principles and regulatory compliance
